Hi guys,

Well here are two mash ups for you to download at will.
'Runs House Of Metal' is my first attempt at doing a mash up and contains:

Run DMC vs LL Cool J vs Killswitch Engage vs Kid Rock (choir sample) vs Beastie Boys

In hindsight Runs House Of Metal is more of a remix of Runs House (Run DMC)

My second offering is 'In Da South' This is Lynyrd Skynrd vs 50 Cent

(I swear I didn’t hear ‘Sweet Home Country Grammar’ which is an awesome Nelly vs Lynyrd Skynyrd mash up before doing this)

Both Mash ups can be downloaded at http://musicbuilder.net/music/bands/1565/

I would appreciate any constructive criticism as these are my first attempts. Especially from you Tim G as your work has always impressed me.

Hope you all enjoy

Blackfly

these are very solid for first attempts, but these are a bit short, even for my liking, and i dont like the beasties at all for some reason. i think premium time is around 4 minutes, unless your aiming at doing club mixes which are lke 6-10 minutes.
youve obviously put time and effort in these and it shows. what progs you using?

Thanks for the reply ridah

I am using acid pro 5 for splicing the songs/samples together and sonar 4 producer edition just to mix the tracks together so that I can balance the volumes and put effects on (there are no effects on my first attempts though, only whats on the original samples)

thanks again

excellent first attempts..

both in time and the tracks all work together very nicely. the house of metal one passes through different sections from the various tracks very smoothly.. possibly a little bit hetic in places (bit too much going on) but other than that very good.

you obviously got the knack for rap with guitars. keep it up
