If you search the net enough you can probably find an old cubase sx1 version.
I had it for a while before i bought cubase4.
It did have a couple of bugs in it though.
One of them was in the key edit page.If you tried to drag a note from its position the pc would lock up.
The only way round this was to highlight the note & then at the top of the page it shows position length etc. in numbers.By using the wheel on your mouse you could change the position or length of the note without crashing the pc.
Of course if you just wanted to quantise that would work ok.
Cant remember the other bug.
To be honest you would be better off saving up for a cut down version of cubase4
as you can then phone up for support & upgrade when you get some money.

If you're 16 you can apply for your NI card.
I know plenty of kids who are 16 (shoot, even 15!) who are working crappy ass jobs for the sake of getting what they want/need. Admittedly it's more DJing stuff as opposed to DAW's but i'm sure it's on their "to get" list.
So, with the Steinberg software, mostly they're not free unless advertised as such, so i would advise using Google to it's full capacity.
With that: Warez are not discussed on here.
