Here is my breaks remix of ACDC’s You Shook Me All Night Long.
There was an old version of this on the site but I decided to redo it and make it more of a remix

JrocParticipantits great…need an outro though. just something to mix to the next track.

SeanzaParticipantI like the drums over the solo best! I don’t think it works through the majority of the track though, meh, maybe I’m wrong, it just sounds like it’s the AC/DC track and somebody’s got a breakbeat playing in the background, I feel the breakbeat should be more part of the track.
My 2 cents, peace.

Feedback is always welcomed and it’s nice that you bothered to write anything at all

I shall look at it again and see what I can do.Jroc wrote:its great…need an outro though. just something to mix to the next track.Last track of the set mate

Glad you like it though.Dave

davefjParticipantOk had another tweak on this.
The drums are a bit more in the mix, the bass is a bit tougher and there is some additional work on the original ACDC bits
Same link as above.

DJ Bobby VParticipantGreat, love it,wouldn’t change a thing.
Nice job!
If I did change something,I would remove the drum roll leading into the chorus.
I would leave it everywhere else.
It totaly works leading into the break/solo
I’ve heard other "dance" mixes of this before and yours is better than almost all of them.Ultimix did a nice one.Break at the end…..I don’t know…I would use it as it is to cut to a different tempo.
Thanks!!

djdiggidyParticipantnot bad not bad.
personally would have liked to hear a little more out of the drums.
tricky tune to remix tho and the timing seems to flow quite well.AdSense 336x280May 28, 2009 at 1:56 pm #668183
davefjParticipantA year and half on and this is still getting listened to

AudioTacticsParticipantAlways wanted to give this tune a re-rub….
AdSense 336x280October 17, 2011 at 1:45 pm #689498
gracemarxParticipantAwesome job man! Just think the beat you added could be turned down a bit throughout the track, it’s a bit overpowering in places – especially the solo.
AdSense 336x280April 5, 2012 at 6:18 am #692121
DJ OracleParticipantnice lay over idea. always will get the girls on the dance floor. The Drums need to be beefd up a bit. over all good idea!
