Here goes, first attempt, had to rebuild the instrumental from the bits that weren't sung on since I just couldn't remove the vocal despite trying for what seemed like weeks. I know there's a lot to be done to it so that's why I'm posting it, for pointers or suggestions..

Enjoy.. or not.

Cheers!

hey, I had a listen.. I aint heard the original, but its not a bad i-mental.. doesn't seem to be out of time. wot I would say is it was VERY quiet.. and lacking in frequencies.. it may be worth A/B ing it with another "pro" track whilst your doing it, so you can hear wots lacking, or rather how it should sound..

then boost stuff with your eq and compressor, till they sound nice and fat..

Its a little weak, but I`m sure your stuff will become stronger the more you do..

I`ve heared worse, so your on the rite lines, just keep at it dude...

Thanks for the encouragement, I'll get working on it as what you've said makes a lot of sense now I listen to it having read you reply.

Should have also mentioned that the original was The Sisters of Mercy's "First and Last and Always" for what that's worth, probably only means anything to anyone into the goth scene...

Thanks for your help, much appreciated
