I use whatever suits, sometimes traktor, good for mixing on the fly, or reason, learning curve on that one!!! working on some beatley stuff at the moment, trying to not just put a house beat under an accapella ) |

| If your looking for something quite cheap and easy to use i would suggest trying something like Acid Music Studio, ive created some pretty good mash ups and remixes just using this simple programme, and have used several of them in my sets and they have gone down realy well. I believe it isnt always the programme your using, its the person using it. if youve got a good ear for music and can naturaly tell what goes with what, you dont have to spend huge amounts of cash on music software. |

| I like FL Studio for creating beats but for playing live I think Ableton is the best. |

| I use Sony Acid Pro for putting everything together and Fruity Loops to add your drums and stuff over the beat |

The software I think is best for mixing would be Acoustica Mixcraft. It's pretty easy to use. I also would suggest FL Studio. |

| Ableton for remixing is like building a house out of leggos. Its F-ing beautiful and you can make them as insane or mundane as you like. Throw an acapella into your session view in an audio track. Then write all of the instrumentals yourself. Try copying the acapella and isolating certain parts of it so you can trasition from intro to verse to chorus. |
