To be honest its good to look at song layouts etc, but it doesn't really matter, surely its how ure music sounds thats the main factor, i mean ure not going to go to a club and hook ure laptop up to a screen for folk to watch it. Although that could be amusing though Smilie_PDT

Something a little more traditional I've been working on recently:

Original music is by Kow Otani. I have his permission to arrange and perform it Smilie_PDT

Mine look like the other ones done in Logic.

HOWEVER, BIG DIFFERENCE

I have ALIASES of my folders/subsequences. So most of the little rectangles on screen are "live" copies that update as I change one.

It looks to me that most people here are making "dead" copies... I.e. once you copy and paste a little block of music on some instrument, that's it—if you edit one of the blocks, you have to edit the copies by hand.

Are any people using aliases?

Something still in progress. The blank tracks are for audio coming to Live from Reason, as I use Reason as kind of a sound source, but tend to do all my MIDI programming and stuff in Live. (I do almost everything but final mixing in Live.)

Hey Peepz,

I'm new here. I don't produce music myself, but I'm a vocalist. Saw the website on a site, so I thought, let's check it out over here. Looks very prof. over here Smilie_PDT

If you people need vox for something that's going to be released, please contact me through www.joyz.nl (in english ;))

Love,

Joyz

lol. no offence but it dont reali matter what the sequencer pattern looks like. u listen 2 musik not watch it!

Why wouldn't you watch it if you could? Being able to see the waveform of the sounds you are using is an incredible luxury.
yaeh, and i think that you can learn alot more by using both visual and audio aids

Here's a couple of mine...

First up, my Deeper & Deeper remix. Very simple, just bass, drums, effects and vocals:

Now a more complicated looking one... a remix of Give Me Love for a contest on HouseMusicPodcast:

They look more complicated than they are, I usually have separate rows in the sequencer for each knob being twiddled in the rack, so I can end up with five or six for a single synth.
