Am putting a rap over the top .. kinda in a mellow 2-Pac style ... the artist who will be coming in next week to lay the vocal has a smooth rap voice... like he has smoked one or two cigarettes too many ... makes a nice contrast..

| Yeah just so you know for the future, almost nobody comments on stuff in this section. If it's gonna end up being hiphop, I recommend throwing it in the hiphop section next time you upload it. I know it's lame, but from my experience it's the truth. |

Track was never designed to be Hip Hop really .. its just happenning that way - had a couple of people look at it, the mellow rap seems a nice style...
Am also looking at a female vocal now .. early stages of discussion. Am extending the track to be 3 16-bar components and 3 bridges...

like it a lot. but doubt if its gonna be any good with hip-hop vocals on it... maybe smth soft, or female vocals... i could imagine Nelly Furtado singing it for example... btw do u have lyrics ??? cos for my ear it must be smth warm and maybe corny  ...like summer, flowers, sun, having joint on beach or grass or whatever !!! |

this is really cool. the sound is good too I would call this "hippie hop", ha ha...
I´d give this a five, but I want to hear the final version, I´m very curious about the vocals.
very nice. I´m just thinking that I like this downtempo section of the forum the most. most things in here are really good. |
