hmmmm, i've searched logic audio (6 pro) for some function that will allow me to invert/flip an audio file (in this case, the instrumental), but can't seem to find one. can someone please tell me how to do this in Logic?
thanks!!

stepwise, have you tried using Logic's onboard Sample editor? It should have options for you to invert or flip the audio.
The audio editor should open by double clicking the audio part. Then in the menu at the top, you should see options for offline processing. Within the options there should be a tool to help you.
Hope that helps. |

i know there's a way to do this but i haven't got logic running at the mo...so this really isn't helpful.
however, if nothing works, and presuming you're on a mac (as i believe they stopped making logic for pc at version 5?) get Audacity. it's free and pretty damn good for what it is. there's an invert (flips the wavelength horizontally) and a reverse function too.
I'm VERY sure there's an option in logic though, i think anisina is on the right tracks. will say something more coherent after work |

There's definitely a reverse function (from the tools menu) in the wave editor in Logic.
Pull in an audio file, double-click on it and the wave editor comes up. It's one of the menu options from that editor. |
